This is a solid sterling silver piece. The lovely Fjord Horse is often seen grazing along the steep slopes of the fjords in Norway. It is approximately 1 1/2 inches long & 1 1/2 inches tall.
The bale for the horse has been cast as a part of the piece - as opposed to having been soldered on - and is therefore a very strong connector.
